AmaWaterways continues to lead the way in river cruising with the release of its Solo Traveler Program for travel in 2016 onward, increasing solo travelers’ opportunities to take a river cruise without having to pay additional fees.
With independent travel becoming increasingly popular, AmaWaterways designed its Solo Traveler Program with the intent to deliver the ultimate river cruise experience for solo travelers. Four of AmaWaterways’ vessels actually feature a limited number of single occupancy staterooms. At 140 sq. feet, these staterooms feature a French Balcony and require no single supplement. And, with no more than 164 passengers per ship, AmaWaterways’ vessels are the perfect setting for connecting with like-minded guests onboard.
The Solo Traveler Program waives the single supplement on all 2016 and 2017 Europe, Asia and Africa river cruises in base category staterooms, The single supplement is waived on staterooms ranging in size from 160 sq. feet in Europe to 285 sq. feet in Myanmar, the latter featuring French Balconies. Solo travelers may choose between AmaWaterways’ single occupancy French Balcony staterooms on select ships or staterooms with the single supplement waived.
